Tungalow is a branded installation exploring how we interact with a designed space that evokes joy from simple pleasures. The designer created this piece to provide people with a chance to step away from the daily hustle and bustle to sit down and take a minute to unwind.

The inside space of Tungalow is an exploration in styling
the placement and arrangement of objects to evoke an experience for the viewer. Tungalow’s interior is composed of redesigned book covers, and a handmade table which holds materials to draw or write with. Comfortable seating has been integrated within Tungalow so that there is not only a sensation of being able to sit down and relax, but also to elicit a communal aspect where people can gather together. The branding material includes a series of stationery, stamps, and a set logo mark. The bones of Tungalow are made completely of half inch PVC pipe that have been fashioned together to form the structure of a small room. The interior is lined with reused canvas fabric that has been stitch-glued together to form a slipcover. Every object inside Tungalow has been carefully crafted or selected for a specific intention to affirm the juxtaposition of old and new, redesigned and reinterpreted. This project is still in progress and is nearing completion. More photographs will be added after its installation. Below are samples of the publication design work.
